VISION

Our Vision at Destiny Prayer Center is Evangelism, Restoration and Discipleship.

We do this by ministering the uncompromising Word of God and the life that a true relationship with him brings to each person.

Our passion is to raise up men and women to walk in the Destiny God intended for them and do what the Word of God says and Make Disciples out of Men.

MISSION

CHURCH
To be a multi cultural church in the Slidell area and teach the uncompromised Word of God that brings unity to all men and reaching out into the community to leave a lasting impression of Gods love to every person.

PEOPLE
To reach the people of the Slidell area where they are and as they are by helping them to see their worth to God by sharing the love of Christ. If they are worth something to God then they are worth something to this church. No person will be left behind.

CHILDREN
Believing that every kid is anointed by God and helping them discover it is the focus of “Kingdom Kids” (Infant to 5yrs.) and “Kids Rock” (6yrs. – 9yrs.) If we can impart to them the word of God and help build their foundation at an early age then we won’t have to worry about them as they grow up. The word of God says in Proverbs 22:6,”If you train up a child in the way that they should go when they are old they will not depart from it” this is our true vision for the children at Destiny Prayer Center.

YOUTH
Focused on students of this region from junior high to High School, Marked Student Ministries will bring the uncompromised word of God that will stand strong in them for the rest of their lives. With intense worship and an extreme word from God each week, this ministry is creating a Kingdom Culture where students not only discover their true potential and call of God on their lives but are being trained to focus on the Kingdom of God so that they will be ready to bring in the end time harvest of souls. We are marking this generation for God!

COLLEGE
Knowing that most college students in this region are commuting students, CORE College Ministry is reaching them in their own communities. A Core is defined as the central, innermost, or most essential part of anything. It is our belief at Destiny Prayer Center that these students are one of the most essential parts to the end time revival and a harvest of souls that will cause a desire in each college student to walk with God the rest of their lives. It is our vision to see the campuses of Southeast Louisiana set on fire with the power and presence of God through this ministry.

COMMUNITY
To reach outside of the four walls of the physical church building and have a dynamic impact in the community through yearly outreach programs and relationship building small groups, which allow us to reach the community in a more intimate setting. In order to reach our community we must be visible on a regular basis and we will do just that.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP
To take you on a journey each week into the holy of holies through an intense time of worship that allows the spirit of God to move among his people and change lives.
It is our prayer that the people will leave each service having walked into the throne room of Gods grace and caught a glimpse of his face, so that they will be radically changed through their time of worship.

GOD’S PRESENCE
To be a church where the presence of God is not something just talked about but experienced every week. A place where his power and his presence are truly felt, and signs, miracles, and wonders follow. This presence is brought about by intense prayer, heart felt worship, and relevant bible teaching.

MINISTRY
Each person has a specific gift and calling and it is our goal to not only offer a variety of ministry opportunities, but get them plugged in to the ministry that will best cultivate their gifts and talents. Ministry is a result of teamwork and by having people plugged in to the right ministry we believe that we will see a greater harvest of souls.

GROWTH
Like every ministry it is our desire to grow in size but it is not our main desire. Our main vision for growth is to be a church that is growing spiritually by creating opportunities for every person to experience personal spiritual growth regardless of what stage they are at in this journey. These opportunities include annual conferences, quarterly encounters, and classes to strengthen each person’s walk with God.

LEADERSHIP
The goal behind our Leadership development is to train up people to reach their full potential and become a catalyst for positive change wherever they are. It is our desire to place these tools of effective Godly leadership in every person’s hands through weekly leadership classes so that they can become an affective influencer in every role of life.

QUALITY AND EXCELLENCE
To approach everything we do with a spirit of honor and integrity and do everything well with quality and excellence. From the first impressions in the parking lot to the people on the platform as long as we are led by the Spirit, and rely on God’s wisdom we have no doubt that we will operate at this level of God’s best.
